Music

guitar for websiteMusic is my passion and my bliss!  I have been singing and writing music for as long as I can remember.  I’ve sang in church, at weddings, and even sang with a few local bands.

I love all kinds of music but old funkadelic and soul are my favorites.  I am currently working on a funk number which I hope to have released by the summer.

I wrote most of my songs for special occasions as a gift for a friend or a family member.  I wrote Where His Hat Used to Hang when I heard of the death of a local firefighter.  The fireman was killed during a training exercise and I was so saddened and moved by the story.

I wrote From Now On when a girlfriend of mine asked me to sing at her wedding.  I was inspired when my husband turned 30 and wrote Chills Down My Spine for him as a gift.

My album, Chills Down the Spine is available on Amazon.  Keep in mind though that all of the songs that I wrote I also produced in a home studio.  I produced most of them in a day or two and there are a lot of technical flaws.  I originally produced them just to present them to loved ones.  I intend on arranging the numbers and re-recording them when time permits.  I also have many country songs that I intend on recording soon.
